Put A Beer In It Episode 1 - Baked Salmon Fish Tacos
You will need:
- 8 oz Salmon
- 1/2 a Yellow Onion, or more if you really like onions
- Crumbled Queso Fresco
- 1 Lime
- Red Cabbage
- 1 Avacado
- 1/2 Cup of Sour Cream
- Your favorite hot sauce, we used Hoff Sauce
- 12 oz of a darker Mexican beer
- Beer for drinking
- Mango Salsa
- Soft Corn Tortillas
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees, while also opening one of the dark Mexican beers and setting it aside to go flat. You must do these simultaneously.
Step 2: While your oven is preheating, take this time to do some prep work. Die your onions, slice the limes, shred or slice the cabbage into thin pieces, and slice the avocados. Slicing avocados can be a certified bitch, watch the video for a nifty way.
Step 3: Take a small baking dish and pour a bit of the flat beer into the bottom of the dish. Place the salmon in the dish and cover with the remaining flat beer. Put a beer in it. Then Pop it in the oven at 350 Degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Step 4: Place the avocado, 1/2 cup onion, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mango salsa, into a large mixing bowl. Using whatever hell mixer you want, grind this stuff up. Pulverize it. This is guacamole.
Step 5: It should be about time to bring the salmon out of the oven. So, do that. While it cools a bit, take this time to heat the corn tortilla shells over the stovetop on medium to low heat for a few minutes. You aren't making chips, so just a few minutes.
Step 6: Mash up the salmon with a fork, it should be about the consistency of canned tuna.
Step 7: Place, in this order, bottom to top in the shell: Salmon, Guacamole, A Spritz of Lime, Cabbage, Mango Lime Salsa, Cilantro, Crumbled Queso Fresco, and top it off with Hot Sauce.
