New Beers Coming Around | New Belgium, Lagunitas, Oskar Blues, Left Hand

Several breweries have announced new beers this week.  There are new beers announced as well as new distribution on several beers. Regardless, it results in more beer for the drinkers.

New Belgium Brewing has partnered with Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to create a special release of a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale. The Beer should hit shelves in fall of 2016 and $50,000 of the proceeds will go to P.O.W (Protect Our Winters), a non-profit dedicated to climate change.

Lagunitas Brewing is offering up a new beer this summer.  The 12th of Never Ale should be available nationally in July, and be a constant after that.

The magical, mystical 12th of Never is a blend of Old and New School hops that play bright citrus, rich coconut, and papaya-esque flavors, all on a solid stage of English puffed wheat. Tropically hoppy. Light, yet full-bodied. Bright and citrusy. The 12th of Never Ale is everything we’ve learned about making hop-forward beer expressed in a moderate voice. Pale, cold, slightly alcoholic and bitter. It’s all we know.

Oskar Blues Brewery is putting out a spin on it's Pinner Throwback IPA. The Passion Fruit Pinner will be released this summer and can be found in al 50 states after that. Oskar's Pinner IPA is one of my favorite beers out right now, so I am ecstatic about trying the Passion Fruit addition to the Oskar Blues fleet.

Left Hand Brewing has announced that coming late Fall and early Winter of 2016 they will be canning three of Left Hand's great beers and they are currently distributing to 36 states.  They will be debuting the Fade to Black (stout), their Extrovert American IPA, and their Milk stout.  They have plans in motion to continue canning more of their beers in 2017.
